Michael Moniz
Paralegal at Sherr Law Group
Michael Moniz joined Sherr Law Group as a paralegal after graduating from Pennsylvania State University in December 2025. He supports the firm’s attorneys in a wide range of civil litigation matters, assisting with legal research, drafting, case preparation, and litigation support.
Michael was drawn to the legal profession by his passion for analytical thinking, writing, and problem-solving. Before joining Sherr Law Group, he completed a judicial internship with a Pennsylvania district court judge, where he gained valuable insight into courtroom proceedings and the litigation process. During college, he also conducted research on civil rights, religious practice, and LGBTQ rights, further developing his research and analytical skills. He was also inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society.
Working at a boutique litigation firm allows Michael to collaborate closely with experienced attorneys while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of practice areas. He enjoys the ever-changing nature of civil litigation and appreciates the opportunity to tackle new legal issues, analyze case law, and contribute to meaningful work on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Michael plans to attend law school and looks forward to building a career centered on thoughtful advocacy, strong legal writing, and helping others navigate complex legal issues.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys reading, writing, hiking, camping, cooking, baking, and playing guitar. He is also a competitive Spikeball player and enjoys traveling to tournaments throughout the country.
